OROMIA Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union, a large organization of indigenous farmers, produces this Yirgacheffe varietal in Ethiopia's southwestern rainforest, known as the birthplace of coffee. OROMIA's coffee is forest-grown,organic, and bird-friendly, and they use traditional techniques such as composting coffee by-products, utilizing shade trees and natural fertilizers, and intercropping citrus and banana for the community's consumption.
